Aquatic Minor
I feel like the Aquatic Minor is really beneficial to Health and Physical Education Teachers. It gives you a lot of valuable certifications such as WSI, LGI, and so on. It gives you opportunities to teach in class as well. It's important to teach as much as you can before student teaching, and this is a great chance for that. I highly recommend the Aquatic Minor you learn a lot and it really helps your portfolio when applying for a job.

Fit Club
Today was the first Fit Club Meeting at 7:oo am. They first introduce the club and what your responsibilities our for being in the club. They talked about 3 different chances to work with kids. They talked about volunteering for the Careers Club. This gives you the chance to work with students in 9th-12th grade. The goal is to work on team building and physical fitness as well. Also they have the Laurence County Career and Technical Center. This gives you the chance to work with kids from 10th-12th grade between 5-25 kids per class. They revamped their PE program with all kinds of programs including a Polar Tri-fit Assessment System, HOPSpots, XArcade Physical Gaming System, Makota Sports Arena, Traverse Climbing Wall, and Team-Building Supplies. This give you the chance to work with them and see the new equipment as well. The Final opportunity was to work at Cray Challenges. This is a good chance to work in a place with limit resources, and trying to figure out how you would promote fitness in a facility like this. I'm really excited to get involved this year it a great opportunity, and my class schedule is spread out enough that I will be able to make most of these.

Coaching
This is going to be my fourth year as a volunteer assistant JV/Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. It's been a good experience getting the chance to coach and work with kids at my high school. We have had a tough time so far getting a lot of girls to show up over the summer and now into the fall. I was thinking though that for the students that have should be reward for showing up over the summer and fall by giving then more time during the regular season on varsity. We are an immature team, and I feel like this year is going to be tough to win more than half our games. I was wondering would it be better to have a below average record this year, but do better next season because we developed younger players? They came over the summer, so I feel that they have earned the chance to at leas play an average amount of varsity time this year. What does anyone else think about that would you play the younger player that to give them experience for a better year next year, or would you play your seniors just to win half your games?

Technology
The most technologythat I have used is my friends I phone. I couldn't believe all the gadgets that are on their phone. My phone is real basic. I can check email or go on the Internets. I liked the touch screen future that it had. If I would be lucky enough I might get it some day in the future.
